Newest iPhone released in the market

The news about the soon-to-be-releasing iPhone 12 is taking the internet by storm. The rumors about its release delay due to the corona outbreak have already broken the heart of many early adapters.

So we finally decided to answer the most trending question on the internet- what is the newest iPhone? What are its specifications, features, and price?

Max Weinbach claimed to get his hand on the CAD schematics of the new iPhone and released some information on the internet. Our tech specialists delved a little deeper into the leaked design.

What is the newest iPhone?

The new iPhone rumored to launch in September 2020 is iPhone 12 Pro Max.

What is the real release date of the new iPhone?

Since Apple always launches a new model every autumn, we expect them to release the new model in September 2020. However, sources report that Apple is planning to delay the release for several months, which means the launch could push back to 2021.

COVID-19 is creating havoc worldwide and Apple’s Asian supply chain is affected as well. As reported by DigiTimes, apples had ordered a halt to their engineers to visit China for the development and testing of the product.

So what changes customers can expect from the new iPhone?

By Design:

The phone may include a .9mm thinner bezel with a 6.7in screen. Customers can expect a thinner chassis of 7.4mm, a smaller notch, and a LiDAR sensor in a square camera.

While early rumors suggest a total elimination of the notch, which has raised some concern among technicians. However, as per the leak, the notch will remain, but won’t take up much space.

The famous rumor of iPhone to release four camera lenses may come true with LiDAR being the fourth sensor.

Screen size

Apple has already explored a myriad of screen sizes across its iPhone and Ipad devices. Seems like they are going to add 6.7in to that list. Japanese blog Macotakara predicts that Apple could launch the iPhone in size 5.4, 6.1, and 6.7in in the future. What size does the new iPhone hold- only time will tell.

Color options

Max Weinbach has predicted the color of the new iPhone 12 handset to be navy blue.

New features

While the year 2019 was all about cameras, we think this time apple will revolve around 5G.

Since some Android manufacturers have already rolled out some 5G handsets, Apple is not going to stay behind in the race. After the falloff from Qualcomm, apple had entered into a partnership with Intel. However, Intel has since forfeited from the 5G arena and sold a significant part of its modem business to Apple. This could mean, apple may manufacture its own modems, but that plan does not look feasible until 2021. Rumor is that Apple has struck some deals with other suppliers or maybe QUALCOMM since the legal matters between them have resolved. Therefore, the chance of apple launching a 5G phone in 2020 seems plausible.

3D camera

Apple is lately becoming obsessive with augmented reality. According to sources by Fast Company, Apple may feature ToF (time of flight) 3D rear cameras. Other effects like multi-layer bokeh is also a possibility.

Touch ID

This time apple may embed the touch sensor under the glass of the screen. The under-display fingerprint sensor is a product of QUALCOMM’s ultrasonic scanning tech. Economic Daily News believes Apple is all set to deploy these sensors in its upcoming handsets.

 Other Specs

  • A14 Bionic Processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64/256/512GB storage space
  • Super Retina XDR display/ProMotion display
  • Triple 12MP rear-facing cameras

How much is the newest iPhone?

The current price of the iPhone 11 pro and pro max costs $999 and $1099 respectively. The bump in price could mostly be for the 5G. As of now, most 5G-enabled phones come with a premium price. Analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicts a price bump between $30-$100, depending on the version.
